Google Glass could be the “biggest technological revolution” in decades, according to the tech industry’s chief executive.
Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, is one of the few people who is currently working on the project.
He told Business Insider on Tuesday that Google Glass is a big step in the right direction and it’s a good thing that he’s got a team of people working on it.””
We’ve been working on Glass for five years and I’m happy to say it’s one of those things where it really is a great opportunity to see the technology at work,” Zuckerberg said.”
It’s like a revolution, I think it will be a revolution,” he added.
Zuckerberg said Google Glass’ biggest problem is that people don’t have the confidence to use it.
He said people in the US, for example, don’t know how to use Glass.
He said the US has the largest number of people who have ever used a cell phone, and they’re all under 25 years old.”
They just don’t want to be in the middle of something,” Zuckerberg added.”
That’s where the biggest opportunity lies.
“Glass is currently available for $1,000 and will be available for the rest of the year.
Zuck’s comments come as a survey released by Pew Research Center found that 51 percent of American adults have never used Google Glass, and the survey found that more than a quarter of them have heard of it only once.
The survey also found that about a third of people had heard of Google Glass only once, compared to more than half of Americans.
